This is gonna be 2011′s most HIT jodi. Sonam Kapoor and Akshay Kumar are coming together in director Anees Bazmee’s film, Thank You.

The film is a romantic comedy having most of its scenes being shot in Canada. This will be Sonam’s first comedy flick. It also features Bobby Deol, Suniel Shetty, Irfan Khan, Celina Jaitley & Rimi Sen, with many stars including Neil Nitin Mukesh, Sunil Shetty and Celina Jaitley. Anees has previously given hit comedies like Welcome and No Entry.

Sonam Kapoor unveiled these pictures on her site and also on Twitter. It is a very fresh pair and we are sure that the duo will bring out a smashing chemistry on screen.

Akshay Katrina & Salman- Walla Walla qawwali

Okay guys!!! We finally get to see a glimps of the song Walla Walla from the flick Tees Maar Khan. The song has Salman Khan and the movie’s lead stars Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif dancing to a fun qawwali number where they are engaged in a mock fight.

Walla Walla is going to be one of the main highlights of the film. Farah, the expert that she is, has directed some cool moves for the song including the most memorable towel dance step from the film Mujhse Shaadi Karogi.

Katrina, gets into a Pakeezah look a la Meena Kumari, wearing a a peach coloured traditional dress, while Salman and Akki are flaunting red shirts like typical taporis.

The number took two days to complete in Film City.

According to sources, Kat and Salman were quite normal with each other. So, it was a smooth run for Farah and her song.

Katrina Kaif dropped out of Housefull Item number

The Katrina Kaif-Akshay Kumar pairing has proved successful time and again. And so, producer Sajid Nadiadwala and director Sajid Khan decided to get Kat on board for an item song in their film Laawaris song in Housefull.

But the other actresses of the film -- Deepika Padukone and Lara Dutta -- had a problem with the very mention of her inclusion and made their displeasure evident.

Katrina, too, was reluctant to do a song in a Deepika starrer, given the resentment the two actresses share over Ranbir Kapoor. Sushmita Sen was approached. The song was finally filmed on Jacqueline Fernandes.

A source reveals, "Katrina was offered the song but it became difficult to convince the other actresses to allow for her presence. Kat even heard the track and raved about how catchy it was. Since Katrina and Akshay have amazing on-screen chemistry it would have been a treat to have her along with Riteish and Arjun. It wasn't meant to be."

Ruling her out

But even the filmmakers didn't pursue the matter further as having Kat as an added attraction wasn't going down well with the three heroines. Especially, Deepika. Kat and Dippy recently came face-to-face at a film studio but looked through each other. So to avoid unpleasantness on the set, the idea of having Kat on board Housefull was ultimately ruled out.

Amitabh Bachchan in Hera Pheri 3

After the success of Hera Pheri sequel, the trio Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Suneil Shetty are once again coming together for Hera Pheri 3. The movie will also have a fourth important character - Amitabh Bachchan.

A source reveals, "After the success of the sequels, they decided to add some more masala to the film. Director Anees Bazmee has scripted a very strong character which is the fourth character and of a lot of importance to the story."

The source continues, "This third sequel will have more twists and turns and one had to play more with the characters. Mr. Bachchan is a wonderful actor and it was very long since one saw him in a comedy role. He will very beautifully essay the role."

Director Anees Bazmee says, "We are still in the scripting stage. The script is being written keeping Amitabh Bachchan in mind. I still have to narrate the script to him. We both are keen on working with each other. Things yet have to be finalised."

The movie will be produced by Firoz Nadiadwala and will be directed by Anees Bazmee. The movie will go on floors in March 2011 with Katrina in the lead. The movie will be called Hera Pheri 4.
